June 2019 - These camper vans are a great way to explore Alaska! Small enough to maneuver on narrow roads and fit into a regular parking space, but with plenty of space inside to carry all your gear and sleep two adults. The bed is very comfortable and there's a camping stove with pots, pans, plates and utensils in the back, even a tarp to cover you in case it rains while you're cooking. There's no shower, but we stopped at various campgrounds with showers. We like the convenience of being able to stop anywhere to eat & sleep. Jeremiah is very easy to work with and was very accommodating when we missed our flight out and didn't make it in until the next day! My boyfriend and I wanted to say a huge thank you to Jeremiah and Northwest Van Campers for making our camping trip to Alaska so enjoyable. First and foremost, Jeremiah was incredibly pleasant to deal with. He was courteous, responsive, helpful and easy to deal with throughout our entire communication. I will do business with him in a heartbeat again! The van itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I have to especially point out the very comfortable bed with memory foam maters, fluffy blanket and good quality linens. Every evening, I was looking forward to snuggling into ‘the nest’ as I called it and getting lots of much needed rest. Jeremiah was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Prompt and thoughtful in our communications. Was incredibly thorough in making sure we had everything we needed. Also, when we picked up the van, he provided an extensive overview on how everything worked. Was accessible throughout our journey of nearly 2000 miles around Alaska. Made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend him to anyone considering a camper van for seeing Alaska. He should be your first and last Google search.

Update after another tour with a campervan from Northwest Van Campers. After having had good experiences with Northwest Van Campers in 2017, these were also confirmed under the new owners, Jeremiah and Adriel. Very nice contact with the two and uncomplicated handling, also from Germany. We hope to be able to travel to Alaska again and would book with Jeremiah and Adriel again! Northwest van campers offered us an amazing and affordable way to see Alaska. The service was personal, friendly and honest, with none of the over the top paperwork and hidden charges we have seen elsewhere. We were encouraged to go where we please, advised on how to stay safe and our rental was as smooth as we could have hoped. The van was great to drive, comfortable to sleep in and didn't stand out at all so we didn't look like tourists (until we got out!). The van was surprisingly economical to drive (thanks to cheap fuel in the US). Northwest van campers seems to be genuinely concerned with showing you safely round Alaska rather than shaking pennies out of your pockets like some others.
