Northwood Pennzoil

This place wrecked my engine. Went in for a simple oil change for my 2021 subaru forester. They didn't properly install the drain plug in my oil tank and now I need an entirely new engine. They told me that was impossible and offered no help of any kind. Avoid at all costs. I'll be contacting an attorney and reporting this to the BBB.

I have gone to this Pennzoil for years and never had a problem till now. When I left after the service my car was hesitating and jumping all over. I couldn't accelerate and The RPM's were jumping up to 500. I went back and they told me it was nothing they did. Afterwards it kept getting worse so I took it to the dealership and found out that they had drained the transmission instead of the oil. And then added more oil to the oil pan so it was doubled filled. My transmission is junk now and they won't admit to their mistake. I'm looking into what I can do to make them repair my car.

I am making a formal complaint with the BBB. I couldn't even leave the three page review I patiently typed here just moments ago. 1. Northwood Penxoil uses substandard washer fluid mix which froze in my lines and ruined my pump. 2. Northwood Penzoil staff diagnosed wrong gasket be replaced at a quoted same day service of $400, which I refused. My mechanic said the leak was not the oil pan gasket as these employees tried to get me to fix there. It was a water pump access panel gasket. 3. Timing chain broke, had repaired, full oil change performed by my mechanic two weeks after a full service oil change w full synthetic oil at Northwood Penzoil. My mechanic said oil filter hadn't been changed in awhile was clogged and "filthy". Overall, not to retype the entire complaint over here now

I love this garage they are very honest And the owner is so nice if you need your car worked on or a oil change this is the place

Will not use this place again, they drained and filled the oil but didn't change out the oil filter. I don't trust them to fix their mess up.
