They said it was good and everything was changed that was needed to be. 3 days after buy it, a check engine light came on. I took it to them and they said it was just a sensor no big deal and cleared it. It came back on THAT SAME NIGHT, so I took it to them again and now all of a sudden it’s the battery, the pump, and the sensor charging me over 1K to get everything fixed even though I just bought this car here a week ago and they told me everything was changed and it was great. On July 2, 2025 I paid Nucar Nissan of Allentown ~$19,000 for a 2017 Rogue they advertised as passing a “multi-point inspection” and being a “dependable used car”. Within weeks the engine failed. During the next two months, I required TWO complete engine replacements under the extended powertrain warranty. The first time was due to a valve issue which could've been solved by an experienced mechanic, while the second time a replacement was needed due to engine knock since no Youtube tutorial evidently exists to teach them how to fix faulty lifters. Those two repairs combined cost me $1,605.54 for out-of-pocket for rentals because Nucar refused any loaner or reimbursement despite their false advertising. I dropped my car off at Nucar at 8:30 a.m. for a state inspection. At 3:00 p.m., I got a call saying I needed three new tires and that my bill would be $1,600. I decided to take my car to Mavis instead. Mavis replaced four new tires and completed my state inspection for $860—almost half the price. The staff at Nucar were not very friendly and honestly seemed miserable at their jobs. I still paid $162 at Nucar for a failed inspection and an oil change, but I refused to go back, so I paid for another state inspection at Mavis just to avoid returning. Nucar also quoted $200+ just to change my headlights. Mavis did it for free.
