Ocean Express Car Wash

I've read some of these reviews and I'm surprised. This place is legit. I've been going here for over 25 years. All the way back when it was a regular car wash. Come on y'all, this is a very good but basic car wash, not a detail shop. I don't live in Sherman Oaks anymore but still go here all of the time and have had no problems except for the obvious. Yes, it may not be 100% dry and some water spots left on or some suds here and there like the trunk area. Bring your own microfiber or hand towel and very easily wipe them off. Do you really expect a full detail level car wash at a basic (almost) do-it-yourself type of car wash? Do you expect the same detail like wash at a gas station car wash? Of course not. Could the car drying fans work better? Sure they can. Can all of the vacuum suction

UPDATE: NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED ... but a very nice guy named Tony drying his car next to me asked if I always come Wednesdays. He said he's come other days of the week. He believes that they either speed up the belt on Wednesdays or do something that quickens the pace. Because his car didn't get as clean on Wednesdays as it does other days of the week. He was saying that Wednesday's his car is never dry either. I experience the same thing, although I can't say this tunnel has never been really good. In pictures previously, as you've been shown, the car remains dirty after you've gone through, but now the car is not dry either. Lol it isn't 5 anymore ... it's 6 now. I've been going to the same car wash every two weeks for eight months, always vacuuming first and informing the staff. Today, the worker was busy so I started vacuuming and planned to let him know later. The manager approached me and gave me a hard time about it. Thanks for the push to try the new car wash that just opened. You lost my business.

Please avoid this place! I went in today for a carwash and my car got damaged on the entire right side by those red spinning cleaning machines. It sounded like a rock was hitting my car as it spun. I expressed my concerns to the manager onsite, Elder and he refused to take me seriously and write an incident report. I would not want someone else to go through what I did.
