Ocean Lakes RV Center

I would like to thank Floyd Jackson he went above and beyond to help us out . I’m in Ohio and my family is using the camper this week at Ocean Lakes and when they arrived the refrigerator wasn’t working . We had used it in May and everything was fine . Floyd worked with me over the phone used his knowledge and connections to make sure my family’s well deserved vacation wasn’t ruined. It is very hot and humid in SC this week not having cold drinks and ice available is and inconvenience in this heat . Although I am thankful they had a working air conditioner. So I want to shout out to Floyd Jackson we thank you for your dedication to the Ocean Lakes Families that look forward to that 1 week away from our work schedule to have a relaxed and stress free vacation . I purchased a used Cherokee travel trailer from ocean lakes. Had it six months and a storm damaged the roof causing a.leak and water damage. The insurance company said it was a Lack of maintenance as the cause. No maintenance is needed in a six month period. I called ocean lakes and they said they do not get involved with insurance issues. I had a Rv repair company look at the camper. Their conclusion was it was damaged by the storm but it had been repaired by ocean lakes before the sale. They also said it was not repaired properly by ocean lakes. Do not buy from ocean lakes.

went to look/purchase a new fifth wheel camper only to be turned away because it was 4:45 and they wanted to make sure they were out by 5 because thats what time they close. we drove hours to get there only to be greeted like this? goes to show the type of support you would receive should you have an issue. I get you want to leave by 5pm however your hours clearly state open to 5. We could have looked for 15 minutes at least.

By all means stay away from the service department. Rude techs. Profanity was used towards me. Which is ok I’m not a sissy. But definitely not the way to Handle a service call. The techs that was sent out had no clue what they were doing. Must have sent the boys that run the putt putt course. But hey if you see the service center this should be at no surprise. I did talk to service manager. He was very nice and said he would look in too it. But looking in too it would require my follow up information. The only reason this place is on the map is because ocean lakes wanted to take a swing at the rv industry. The sales guys were nice. Although I would not buy anything they had on the lot.
