Last week I went to OGC10 Garage in Anna to do my front brake pads and rotors myself. It’s a co-op style garage run by Alberto, and honestly, it was a great experience. There were two young guys there supervising and helping out. I’ve been doing brakes for a long time, but they still gave me a few solid tips that made things smoother. I knocked out both front brakes in about an hour. The place is super clean and organized. Alberto provides tools (I brought mine just because I’m used to my own stuff), and everything is laid out in a way that makes you feel comfortable working there. It doesn’t feel sketchy or chaotic like some shops can. Alberto is a stand-up guy. Very helpful. Very supportive. The space is clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything you could possibly need — from lifts and specialty tools to expert advice when you’re stuck on a tricky repair. The staff is friendly, professional, and always happy to lend a hand or share a helpful tip.What really sets OGC10 apart is how easy it makes working on your own car. The hourly rates are super fair, and the facility feels more like a high-end shop than a DIY space.
