O'Reilly Auto Parts

I live right by Bull Hill Ln, so the O'Reilly on 1003 Boston Post Road has always been my go-to for my 2012 Nissan Altima. I’ve been a loyal regular here for a long time, but after my experience today, I won’t be coming back. I stopped by between 5:15 PM and 5:40 PM to use the OBD machine for a quick check engine light scan something I’ve done here many times before. Instead of helping, the guy at the counter just told me they 'weren’t doing it' and that I’d have to come back between 12 PM and 3 PM. It’s really disappointing. The store is open until 9 PM, and being turned away for a 5-minute scan especially when I can even do the scan myself feels like a total lack of respect for a loyal customer's time. I returned a part to O’Reilly Auto Parts and had a very poor experience. The manager spoke with another manager and said, “It’s your call to take it back.” In the end, they kept the part and I was given no refund. Completely unacceptable customer service. The store manager junior looking under my phone number to found the receipt and he couldn’t and the other manager looking under my credit card number and found the receipt still don’t take merchandise back so I left without my money or the part. I won’t be returning to this location.

Not a great experience at this store. Employees were charting at the back room, and they seemed less than willing to understand my issue than to move on to the next customer. This is a very competitive industry, so customer service needs to be exceptional- this is not the case here.

The manager couldn’t get my account transferred from another O’Reilly’s store even though the other store manager was on the phone. All he had to do is ask for my account number. He wouldn’t be bothered. He needed my account and PIN number (which I obviously don’t have handy). Then he proceeds to ask me if I’m doing ok as in express my frustration with his incompetence. Bad.

On 8-01-2025 at 4:38pm I went to this location I bought my brake part from them. The brake part had warranty and I was working with a really nice gentlemen. Suddenly the manager signaled to the employee and told him not return the item. She was a very rude manager. I believe she doesn’t deserve to work here. If anyone don’t believe this please look at the camera at there store at 4:38 pm.
