Over The Hill

Avoid this shop — not worth the headache. We were referred to this mechanic by a local to repair our transmission. Our original plan was to replace it, but he insisted he could rebuild it “with 100% certainty” for less. Cost wasn’t our concern — we just needed the car reliable — but he persisted. We dropped the vehicle off in early March and, after months of minimal communication, assumed progress was being made. Nearly (three months later), he finally called saying it was ready. After just five days of driving, the transmission slipped again and wouldn’t shift past 2nd gear. Lee does great work that's affordable and reliable. Even works on Nissan pickups which isn't the easiest to find.
