Owen is a liar and a thief, I provided a few pics as evidence so locals will know not to trust Owen Small Engine Repair. He has had my $6000 zero turn Dixie Chopper since August 2024, and we are a week away from September 2025, after paying Owen $2993.08 IN ADVANCE for repairs. After over a year of excuses, I took a male friend with me to pick my mower up on July 8 2025, it was not with all the other mowers there for repair, his daughter said there was no ticket with my name on it. He would not even loan me a mower, I have had to pay hundreds of dollars for my lawns to be mowed this spring and summer on top of losing my mower and thousands of dollars. Owen repaired and got my dirt bike and four wheeler running for a fair price. He knows his stuff and does right by his customers. Highly recommended and will use in the future!

I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy my grandmother paid 400 for work on her mowers she has been left up to his mercy to make things right going on a month now still hasn't made right

DO NOT send your equipment to Owen Spanjer. You will be lied to and robbed of your money. I have paid this man over $1,700 in advance for parts and labor that he never completed. I was incredibly patient and understanding until the excuses piled up; COVID, Hospital trips, new mechanical issues, couldn't find parts, not time to work on them - this went on and on. I've asked him to send receipts of parts he purchased on multiple occasions and refuses to do so. 4 months later, I finally went to collect my ATVs and asked for my money back.
