Pacific Express Wash

Always have a great experience here. This is a very tight car wash but they always go above and beyond. I got the $12 wash and then tipped the dryers $5 bucks but they do an amazing job and also tire shine my tires. Most bang for your buck as car washes go in LA.

This is a VERY cramped car wash. The cheapest one is more than $7 now. The air dryer is terrible and leaves your car very wet still. Theres a guy at the end that will dry your car off for you by hand though which makes it better. But then I feel obligated to tip which drives the cost of the wash up even more. Overall it'll due in a pinch.

Beware of this place! I paid $11 (the best wash option they offered), which was supposed to come with “Blue Coral Tire Shine,” but they were almost as dirty as before the wash (see photo). While I was vacuuming I noticed the man who took my money for the wash came over to another car, with a sponge and ArmorAll tire shine, and manually shined the tires. When I pointed out that my tires also needed a shine, he said, “she tipped me extra for that.” I pointed out that the machine tire shine was obviously not working, he simply ran off back to taking money at the entrance. I’m the photos, this is the heavier set guy with a beard and blue strip down the side of his shirt. I went over to the woman whose tires he polished and asked her if she had paid extra for the shine. Paid for the middle option. Tipped the 2 guys at the end that dried the car with towels. The car wasn’t super dirty to begin with but it looked new after that wash. Didn’t use the vacuums. Small lot.

Nice little car wash. I like they have people to wipe your vehicle down.
