Pacific Motor Service has become my one and only go to auto shop. I feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment I arrive. I am kept informed of the work being performed which has always been completed in a timely manner and there are no surprise charges when I pick up my vehicle. Honest and transparent when discussing repairs and no pressure to include additional work that is not imperative at the time. Great people! Great work! That’s a winning combination! Pacific Motor Service did an excellent job replacing the starter on my Jeep. They did the work in record time, which was so appreciated as I was on a road trip up the coast. People were incredibly nice, fair, and helpful throughout the repair. Definitely would recommend

On roughly Jan 7th (of 2026) or so, I called to make an appointment at Pacific Motor Service (the Monterey location) and asked what would be a good time to bring my car in where I could wait in the lobby while they performed the oil change and tire rotation straight-away. The pleasant lady on the phone told me that 1 PM would be a good time and that it would take 50 min to one hour. I said, "Great," and made an appointment for the following week. A week later, when I showed up, a small, pudgy man with a beard greeted me. I told him the pattern I would like my tires rotated in and he began to debate me about why I did not simply want to move the front to the back and the back to the front. Then he told me that his guys were out to lunch and that if I waited, it would take 2 1/2 to 3 hours

First experience with Pacific Motor Services and they did a great job: * Friendly staff (Rory + others) who were willing to go above and beyond, * Completed service within designated time, * Were able to greatly improve an ongoing issue that multiple trips to my dealerships (in two different States) couldn’t remedy. * FEELING GOOD!!
