Parker Automotive

Parker Automotive has become my go to auto mechanic. These guys are fair with price and offer excellent customer service. I recently had them put some shocks on a vehicle and was happy with the service and quality of work completed.

I went to Parker Automotive because of the good reviews. The last two places I went (which included a dealership) didn’t work out. The things I was told needed to be fixed didn’t add up and I declined to repair. I had another mechanic from somewhere else give me a completely different story. I didn’t know who to believe, I don’t know a lot about cars. I’m at the mercy of a good mechanic. I came in to Parker Automotive and asked for an alignment and brake check, nothing else was mentioned. They looked over some extra things at no cost and explained what was really going on. Long story but worth the read... I personally replaced my wheel bearings, ball joint, knuckle and CV Axel, but couldn't get the Axle to seat 100% flush on my Camry, found out later the special trick. Went to Big O Tires, Les Schwab and got quotes from 3 other local Transmission specialty shops near me in Aurora; all quoting me over $800 to replace the $40 seal only, as I didn't have time to mess with anymore (labor at $300/hr?; are you kidding me). And several also telling me they would only touch the seal if I replaced the axle with them, I get for warranty purposes but I wasn't needing a warranty on the axel as it costs $190 or so at the parts store. Highly recommend Parker Automotive. They have serviced many of my cars. Fair, honest, good communication, and no pressure. They saved me out of pocket expense on a new transmission by finding an issue and suggesting I reach out to the dealership as it was covered by warranty!

Shop was fantastic about communication! They made using my car warranty super easy. They were honest and up front about a realistic time line if my problem was what I thought. Will definitely be using again!
