This morning, I brought my Grand Highlander to the dealership for a recall service and to receive my second key. As part of the repair process, I was offered a loaner vehicle. However, I was rudely denied the loaner by the rental car counter staff due to my insurance. I hold a valid Arizona driver’s license and a 50-state (plus Canada) valid car insurance policy. Despite this, the staff member informed me that I needed Texas insurance to qualify for

Tried to charge my girlfriend over $2k for replacement of ABS wheel sensor and battery current sensor. Charged $200 to inspect the vehicle but they did no such thing. They clearly just hooked it up to a diagnostic tool, which any auto store will perform for free. Her windshield pipers were hanging off and they didn't even notice or mention. I went and bought a new OEM front wheel sensor for only $45 on Ebay, and had a mobile mechanic come to my house and he installed it for only $100. He also simply reset the battery sensor, which was fine he stated. So in the end I saved her $2k. I see now why people say to never get work done by a dealer.

Trustworthy service department. Friendly service staff. Typical dealership pricing, but I value their trustworthiness and quality workmanship more than a cheap price. I’ve always been treated with friendliness and respect.

Service representative Hisar Odeh was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure that the repair was scheduled and executed in a friendly manner. He refunded the charge for extra service which my car received.

Imagine making an appointment for a routine maintenance on a car with less than 15k miles. Imagine being told it might take an hour and half. Imagine waiting 4 hours. Imagine paying $300 for this opportunity. Don’t let my reality becomes yours. Avoid this service department. It’s hot garbage.
