Best mechanic and automotive specialist in the area. Staff are super friendly, and the owner, Paul, is one of the most honest people I have ever met. I trust no one else to work on my cars. I have known Paul for over 15 years now, and he is really one of a kind, and his workmanship, honesty, and care that he has for his customer is truly one of a kind.

I brought my 2003 celica to pauls garage workers were very nice. I needed a new resonator and a new exhaust system. I previously went to a different shop and they completely screwed me over and over priced me Paul’s garage charge me a great price replaced my resonator and exhaust system and they did an amazing job. Car has never felt better I also had a problem with my emissions which gave me a check engine light they I was having such a hard time figuring out what is was and they fixed it 100% would recommend going here!

Great shop ! Knowledgeable/affordable/fair. Knows how to prioritize work if much is needed. Doesn't look to do all at once. Paul will let you know what is needed to be done immediately to make vehicle safe.Then when ready he will work on remainder maintenance that possibly could be needed.That's a sign of a good shop! They don't hit you with this gigantic bill and say all must be done now. The shop is knowledgeable with all current vehicles. Fantastic ..Fantastic.. Fantastic Classic car mechanic! Having been to a few garage's in the Fanwood/Scotch Plains/Plainfield area, I can say that hands-down, Paul's garage has the best prices AND the best service. Recently our catalytic converter was stolen and it became a huge nightmare. Paul's walked us through every step and he did an amazing job dealing with the insurance company. They had great turnaround and now my car is working great again.

Went to Paul’s for a entire exhaust system from long tube headers to the rear valance of my 1966 mustang. Not only was I impressed by the quality of work, but he personally called me and asked me questions about where and how I wanted the exhaust pipe to be routed. He even tightened loose header bolts that I didn't even know about, huge life saver. Overall very great experience with Paul’s would highly recommend to anyone.
