Pay Less Auto Sales

Before purchasing my 2014 Ford Focus, I had asked if there were any mechanical issues I was told “No” however 2 days afterwards I noticed heavy smoking from my exhaust and they were made aware of the problem (I showed proof) I then gotten the car serviced myself (to find out the cause )and was told I needed a WHOLE new engine. However they have done NOTHING about it besides telling me “I had a 30 day warranty “and “I could take to any mechanic to have it fixed “and “I’ll give you a call “. My car has not been drivable and has been sitting at a shop for 3 months for a pre-existing issue. Please proceed with caution ⚠️

Payless bought my stolen car from someone who stole my free and clear title. I went there many times to try and get just a little help to get another car or if he could do.. Anything to help. He easily sold my car for at least 10k. will still not help me. I'm a mom with children and not only mourning the loss of my car daily but devastated at his unwillingness to help me. The person who has been charged for the loss/crime is now a fugitive. it's been 2years and nothing. Please don't go to Payless Auto Sales. I posted this originally in 2019. Update. Criminal was charged for car theft, served time and ordered to pay me $17k in restitution. STILL NOTHING. Probably will never see any money or any help from Payless Auto Sales. Didn't purchase a vehicle from them but they worked on my vehicle from their Burton Street location. I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle there! Had them working on my vehicle for 2 years for this & that and another mechanic said they did alot under my hood that was shotty work!! They should focus on working on cars not trying to get involved with females that come to the shop!

Crooks! Sold us a car that they knew had problems...it broke down right after the 30 days warranty was up...yes it was AS IS but it was a POS and they knew it! Took it the shop and they have had it for a month, claiming they were waiting/looking for the part...LIES...because it was broken down, my husband lost his job and we couldn't pay, so they are holding the car...no car, no job, no payments...its that simple payless...avoid this place AT ANY COST!!
