Payless Car Rental

They have 4 different charges on my account, that now I'm stuck disputing. I paid for the price on rental and $200 deposit at the time of pickup. I didn't have the rental 24hrs and I only had to put $13.03 in gas to fill up the tank and was charged a fuel fee of over $35 when I brought the car back full . Then at the time of drop-off I was charged another $113.87. I looked on my card and $267. 81 was charged twice.

It looks like I’m not alone in my thoughts of this company and their service. I booked the rental vehicle 3 weeks in advance. No issues with receiving a confirmation email. Arrived to the front desk and was told there were no rental vehicles available. I was placed on a list along with 20+ persons that were now waiting. Whatever service/booking system they’re using. Throw it away. I had the same trouble in Kansas City with Avis. I understand that mistakes happened and would look past it. Unfortunately their associate at the counter thought it would be appropriate to tell me to take a seat and get comfortable. Unfortunately, they waste your time here. Prepaid for my car rental, showed up today and was told it was at least a 2 hour wait because of some issue with their system. Don't waste your time with this place - AVIS/PAYLESS/BUDGET group is all under one umbrella. Had to call for a refund. Wish Hertz was still around the corner from my place, but now the options are minimal except going to the airport for a rental.

I will never ever rent with Payless ever again. I am on military duty and they decided to give my car away before I got there. Fantastic. No apologies. No help. Never ever ever rent from this company. I will be sure to contact dod to make a formal complaint

We reserved an SUV online and received an email confirmation that there would be one available. We showed up the next morning and were told it wasn’t available. The lady at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. We waited 2 hours at which point they offered us an “alternative SUV” but it was WAY too small. We immediately went back inside, returned the keys, and asked for a refund. The refund process was (and still is) a massive headache. If you get insurance on the car, you have to call the customer service line for the main refund first, then call the insurance company for the insurance refund. All of this happened on 12/22 and today it’s 1/10. We’re STILL waiting for them to release the $250 deposit hold on our credit card. We’ll have to call the main line today for 3rd time since t
