Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

My wife and I have been clients of Pep Boys in Fuquay Varina over the last year. We own 3 vehicles and Pep Boys of Fuquay has proven to be honest, reliable and fast with all of a vehicle repairs. Today we had brake issues. As per usual, Pep Boys assessed the issue, gave us a quote and told us we could wait for the repairs. What was pleasantly different about today’s visit was Matthew, one of the new associates! Matthew was personable, professional and just freaking kind! At a time when workers everywhere are frustrated by their jobs, overworked and sometimes under paid for all they’re required to do, Matthew went above and beyond. We appreciate this type of service. This caliber of employee will keep us as forever customers of Pep Boys. I highly recommend this store. Ask for Matthew!!!

POOR DISMISSIVE SERVICE — Pep Boys Local/Fuquay Varina, NC and Corporate Office Engine Replacement BE AWARE! 4 months. Almost $5000 paid to PB. (Paid separately for the engine!) WE STILL DON’T HAVE A CAR TO DRIVE. WE DO NOT KNOW IF OUR CAR IS CURRENTLY SAFE TO DRIVE since -THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. -There is a major leak. -The electrical system is not programmed properly as a result. -Other glitches. Sept 2025 to date (January 23, 2026), we have made multiple good-faith attempts to communicate. Pep Boys Corporate has not even offered the courtesy of a return call. Please BEWARE!

Was leaving Fuquay 7 AM to head to New York when I had a flat tire stopped at the Pep Boys. They immediately helped me and did a tire patch at a very reasonable rate and I was on my way by 8 o’clock very friendly very helpful people.

Even though I arrived a little early for the oil and filter change, they honored my request and completed the work promptly. Yes, I will be there for all the next auto services. The staff was really kind and even though I had the coupon, I didn't need to show it to them because he himself gotten a $20 coupon discount with the oil change.

Great service and advice from the store manager and one of the mechanics. They really knew the ins and outs of what my car needed. They also gave good advice for proper maintenance and mentioned some things to look for in the future. Fair and reasonable expense for tires and other services. I was very pleased.
