I’ve always lacked trust in PepBoys but I also tend to get stuck going to them because of their weekend availability. On my last visit in May 2025 we ended up dropping nearly $2k for needed maintenance and repairs. First issue is I had asked them on two prior occasions to investigate an odd noise coming from the passenger front. Finally this time they informed me it is due to a missing hydraulic motor mount. Also they left this piece of metal under the hood, picture A. Hmm. Now I’m really pissed because, at that time, I had them do an oil change with my materials since they were going to be in there anyway. Anyone feel like explaining why I provided the oil filter in picture B, yet today when doing my oil change I actually have the filter in picture C? Maybe it seems like something little

As I read now the previous reviews, I can see that I'm not the first one to experience it. After having service done and getting on my car: 1. Immediately noticed the way the touch screen was not assembled correctly and the plastic covers out of place. Something simple that if an inspection was done, which on the receipt said it was performed, would have been avoided. 2. Missing items from my center console box. I HAD a CarPlay adapter that connected my phone to the screen after turning on the vehicle. Again noticed immediately after getting into the car. Also Bluetooth headphones that I left in there. This second complaint was probably my fault for trusting someone else, thinking that they were taught correctly. *I had someone else pickup the car due to not being able to get on time. H

We are there, from Michigan, on a road trip and needed tire help ASAP. They got us in, fixed us up, and were really fair about the pricing and everything. Would recommend any day of week and twice on Sundays!

Please please for the love of all that is holy do not come here. Not only did they quote me over $700 (not including diagnostic fee) for an issue i ended up getting fixed out the door for $300 at Sealy Automotive in knoxville 15 minutes away from this location. I’m a young woman with little car knowledge and these places are the reason I’m scared to take my car anywhere,because people like this take advantage of vulnerable people in tough situation. Also, the mechanic that quoted me literally wouldn’t stop talking to me about his dead ex wife who he clearly hates and that made me super uncomfortable? His name is Joseph. Unfortunately ended up paying $120 diagnostic fee before i wised up and called Sealy Auto who is an honest local car shop.

Been here a number of times for tire and rotations. They do the work I ask. Reasonable tire prices. Expect to be up sold on things you likely don't need. 75 dollars for windshield wipers when mine visibly look fine and are not streaking? I had tires balanced as routine maintenance and they decided my struts needed replacement for $1500. No hydraulic leaks, signs of wear, bouncing, or symptoms of any sort. Just here's a big quote. I also got the lifetime alignment. Aside from the original alignment where the car drove noticeably better they have never completed the alignment I asked for. They changed my AC compressor, and when my wife went to drop off the car they no longer honored the quote and added $500 to the bill. I also find things absurdly over torqued on the car.
