Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

My hats off to Ricardo and Mike at Pep Boys for taking care of us the night before Thanksgiving day, and for even staying late to do their job! They patched a tire, took our tire off and made sure that it held air before we headed out and they verified that our sensors were working. They were informative and explained what happened and how they were going to repair it. I recall Mike stating, “I’m not going to charge you until I give you a free tire inspection, first we need know what’s wrong.” My kids also stated that their bathroom was clean an added bonus for a car shop that is not very common. Great service! The team at Pep Boys is kind and efficient, especially Riccardo at the front desk and our tech Joseph. We were here from out of town for a wedding at Callaway Gardens, where we unfortunately got a nail in our tire. This was the closest location that could complete a patch, and we felt lucky that our tire was holding air and made it the 20 min drive to Pep Boys. The team was so nice, helped patch our (2 month old) tire right away, and got us right back on the road. The patch was only $36.31. We were even given the nail to keep as a souvenir (lol)! Hunter the manager, and his team took care of us amazingly. They were super impressive and knowledgeable, and kept us from having to pay the service on the rental. Highly recommend this site at La Grange. Thanks fellas.

The Guys handling the counter during my brake/shock job were OK. The problem I have is that I didn't drive the car, other than the quarter mile drive to my hotel after I picked it up, until 2 days later. I had to run some errands and whenever I hit a bump there was a loud noise like the shock was coming through the car!!! The bigger the bump the louder the noise!! They either forgot to tighten the bolts on the shock or didn't attach it correctly or the possibility that the product was defective which is a serious concern if you are using inferior parts. I immediately headed to Pep Boys to have them look at it. The guy at the counter told me he didn't have anyone that could look at it and I told him I can't drive it because I'm afraid of the damage that might be happening. He again said the
