Pep Boys in White Marsh always does an excellent job of servicing my vehicles. It's easy to book an appointment through their website. They are diligent in keeping me updated about the status of my vehicle's service so I know when to pick it up. They always explain any additional services that are recommended but never pressure me to have them done. Check-in and check-out are both efficient and the employees are polite and professional. Recently my truck battery died at the gas station next door. Another customer and the attendant pushed it away from the pumps and a mechanic from Pep Boys came over and jump started it, then had me drive over to the garage bay so he could test my battery. Our car broke down on the way home from New York to Raleigh, and we had no idea where we were. Almost 7 hours away from home. We towed her into Pep Boys, and the team was immediately so kind and helpful. They took all the stress out of the situation and treated us like family. I had to get a tire replaced because it was damaged due to a curb or block of ice. I scoured the internet for a local place that carried the tire I needed. Pep Boys was the only one I found. I called and confirmed that they carried the tire and was able to take my car without an appointment to have the tire replaced. Kate and Justin were extremely helpful, so much so that my service only took 20 minutes. I can’t speak to any other service that they provide, but I definitely recommend tire service with them.

From the initial call requesting pricing, to the moment I drove off the lot, I felt like I was their one customer of the day. Knowledgeable, and confident, they made it very clear what to expect from them and what services I would receive. I didn't feel pressured to purchase ANYTHING beyond what I asked for. I was given suggestions and recommendations, but I in no way felt like it was required to do. They even told me how long roughly I would have before I should consider doing more work. And the prices, oh my the prices were remarkably low in relation to other reputable tire shop quotes. just for mounting and balancing customer supplied tires was a third to quarter of what other shops wanted and I got the VIP treatment with my service tech and front desk person. I bought tires online and had them shipped to their shop, to be mounted, balanced and a front end alignment. Service was well priced, prompt and professional. I would return for other service and would recommend considering this Pep Boys location if you are in need of service.
