I had my evaporator core replaced which involved them having to remove my whole dash. Afterwards I was called and told that the vehicle was ready so I rushed over to pick it up. When I got there the vehicle was running and the AC was nice and cool. There was a can of tough stuff and a dirty rag in the cup holder that was rather moist I took it inside and let them know and I left. I also noticed a bunch of zip ties in the floorboard meaning that they didn't clean up very well after the repair. As I turned my steering wheel out of their parking lot I noticed it grinding sound so I turned back around and informed them that something wasn't right. I was told that the AC guy was out to lunch and before he left he told them he was done. I was also told that he only works Monday through Friday so

She went above and beyond to make things right, showing professionalism, patience, and genuine care the entire time. I’ve attached the official complaint that we filed with corporate over a week ago. We haven’t get a response. I would caution anyone who is currently using them to beware. The complete lack of concern and accountability from the store manager and staff is the most frustrating part. I am submitting this formal complaint regarding repeated A/C service failures at Pep Boys located in Milton, Fl. This now resulted in my vehicle a/c system being declared “contaminated,” despite multiple prior visits for the same issue to the same location.
