Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

We requested replacement of three TPMS sensors and clearly declined replacing the fourth (it was still working). The employee at the desk, John, who stated he was the “Regional Manager”, quoted us for three and we agreed. After service began, we observed technicians deflating the tire we specifically declined. When we addressed this, John became confrontational, claimed the fourth sensor was being done “for free” (which was never discussed), and then refused service said I’ll just give you you’re vehicle back and not do any service. He proceeded to say he wasn’t dealing with “dumb people,” today and stated we were banned from all Pep Boys locations by a note he was “putting in the system”, told us to leave the property and he was going to send us to jail for trespassing. Went in for an oil change, was fast, clean, and respectable. The free inspection review was good to see i wasn't expecting that. They actually got the oil change done faster than estimated. Great service overall.

I ordered tires through a website and they arranged the mounting here. Process was painless. I needed the spare replaced so I asked if they would leave one of the old tires mounted and replace the spare tire and put it on the vehicle. Apparently they forgot, so they remounted one of the removed tires on the spare! Thanks!

These guys took care of my oil change quickly and professionally. Very friendly and helpful. Great attitudes despite my showing up just an hour before closing. I appreciate them very much.

Went in for a car diagnosis. Upon their findings and what they thought was the problem, they were not capable to do the type of repair. They referred me to someone who was capable of doing computer work. amSince they couldn't fix the problem, they did not charge me the diagnosis fee, which is why the 5 stars. Very friendly crew.
