I NEVER write reviews but HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. They lost my wheel lock key for my rims. I dropped my car off 30 minutes before my appointment and I came back 2 and a half hours later and they still never took my car in. They kept saying it’ll be done before schedule but it wasn’t and when I showed up the 3rd time they said “they just lifted the car.” I had them bring the car down and didn’t let them touch my car because no one knows what’s going on in that shop.

Had a great experience with getting a battery installed when my battery went bad, very efficient system and all staff was friendly and helpful. The weather was bad and cold but I got an appointment for Sunday am and was out by 11am. Got a good price and used the online coupons for a nice savings too. I will go back to this Skokie shop.

I’ll do everything I can to never use Pep Boys again. They sold me a battery that lasted 8 months and then made an attempt to bill me for a new battery clearly without checking the history of the car where they would have seen I’d made the purchase from their store. Appointment at 8 am and no update until I called at 4 pm, car done at 6. 8 hours for a battery replacement and oil change is just unacceptable.

I had a hole in my tire. It couldn’t be replaced (which I understood and was fine with). Then I was quoted $1050 for a set of 4 new tires and was told my brakes and rotors were rubbing and bad on my 1 yr old (11k mile) car. All together they were trying to get me to spend $1500 on fixing my car simply because I had one bad tire. I took it to the dealership who told me everything looked fine and I only needed to change the 1 tire because my car was so new (even though it’s an AWD). I waited 2.5 hrs for them to look at my car and then quote me with all this stuff I didn’t need. I’m only giving 2 stars because the guys there were nice but I definitely won’t go back because now I don’t trust their expertise.

All technicians and attendants were great! They accommodated my visit even when I was delayed getting there by traffic. Omari is awesome! A true professional .Had 4 tires and alignment done by Arkan did a great job..he is very efficient and precise. These guys do jot waste your time and are serious pros..appreciate their help.
