Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Do yourself the favor and don’t do it. $976 for 3 days to replace a thermostat. They left me stranded twice over a loose hose. Never again. Guy at front desk couldn’t care less, and the mechanic charges $187/hr. Terribly pathetic.

After noticing my tire pressure light come on again and having purchased 4 new tires from a pep boys near my home, I got off the highway and stopped by this location. The staff here was helpful and considerate even though my initial service was at another location. They drew up the cost for a replacement tire and they even put on my spare so I could safely travel on the highway back to my side of town. No pressure just assistance. Thanks to Marcus and the rest of the team.

This is a wonderful location, with a great staff. I needed some air and a patch in my tire as there was a nail in it. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted outside by one of the staff members. Even though I couldn’t get my tire patched as they’re 35s and their machinery doesn’t adjust large enough for them, they didn’t brush me off. The mechanics put air in all four of my tires and made sure it was good to drive on. Along with that, they helped me locate another shop to go to down the line that could fit my truck. ABSOLUTELY recommend this location as they have a great environment, work ethic and handled my truck with care.

Horrible communication skills. I ordered tires to the shop, they told me 2-3 days and that they would call when they arrived. I had to call after 7 days of not hearing from them to find out the tires arrived a few days prior. When they went to switch the tires, they didn’t have the correct adapter so I had to wait for them to order new parts, only reason they get a second star. They failed to check the tire sensors to confirm they were reconnected properly after the service. When I returned to town a couple weeks later, my TMS sensor light was one so I went in to have them fix it. I was there for 5.5 hours waiting for this service on something they messed up. I had to call to check in on the vehicle parts because I didn’t receive a call like the manger mentioned. No excuses for poor commun

I was pleased with them being able to get me in and out quickly and back on the road. I was however extremely disappointed with the price as the same tire that I paid $277 for was listed at Pep Boys online for $139. I didn't argue about it I needed a tire and I wanted to get home but I do believe there was something Shady there and the manager found a way to work a little extra profit into the job by showing a very low install cost and a high materials cost. And that is the reason for the three-star rating. If I did live in Marietta I would not be back to this Pep Boys for sure.
