We have a daughter at Mississippi State and when her car broke down on the side of the highway, Performance Automotive helped us with a trusted tow truck company to help her and got her vehicle diagnosed quickly. The car required a new radiator and water pump, which were both fixed within a week. There was a hiccup with the work, but Chris and his team went above and beyond to cover the repairs of having the car fixed where we live. The staff was very upfront with the issues the car had, returned all calls and emails extremely promptly and helped us when we couldn't get to our daughter to help her! We appreciate all of thier help and would gladly use this service shop again!

I started back and fourth with Chris about getting an appointment scheduled for a suspected rear main seal on a 2010 Silverado. Since I had lots of travel going on around that time I put it on the back burner until I had also saved enough money for it. Once I was able to get serious about it, I called Performance Automotive on a Monday, I dropped the truck off on a Tuesday evening, by Wednesday at 9am I received a call back confirming the repair for a rear main, and had the truck back Thursday by 4pm. Very fast turn around. I did some research on various shops around town, and I saw this name on a few facebook groups and reddit posts. This place is the way to go! Originally I was very impressed with the service offered by Shannon at performance automotive. Everything went smoothly and I was able to easily understand every step of the process. I was allowed to bring in my own parts to save myself some money, which I was very grateful for. This would have been a shop I would recommend to others had I not discovered that Shannon replaced my tire using the spare in my trunk without telling me. I drove hundreds of miles on it not knowing any better until I got a flat tire and realized there was no spare to replace it. That tire was not meant for long term use, and I could have been seriously hurt due to Shannon’s negligence. Use this shop at your own risk.

Brought my truck in Monday, transmission was rebuilt and working like new by Thursday.

I have used Performance several times over the years, and they have never let me down. On my most recent visit, my Silverado was running poorly and smoking on startup. They found what was wrong quickly, had to order parts, and still had it back on the road in less than a week, which is exceptional considering they had to remove the intake and a valve cover. Their team is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
