I have a 2006 Dodge Durango Limited 4x4 5.7 Hemi that has a 5 speed transmission. Something happened where the engine light came on and the transmission stopped shifting. I ended up only having 2nd, 3rd and Reverse, an in order to drive I had to start off in "2" then shift to "D". I took it in to my normal mechanic who diagnosed the problem as the High/Low Shift Control Module or something like that and he ordered the part and the filter kit. When he got in there and changed the filters he felt uncomfortable doing the solenoid or whatever and told me to bring my truck here, to Performance Auto in Willoughby where he's had his own truck's transmission repaired.
