Performance Machine

Not a customer but doubt I would want to deal with the owner. Was walking my well behaved Australian Shepherd puppies on the public easement (directly under power lines) and she decided to approach and rudely told me to leave because I wasn’t a customer . I politely left but shouldn’t have. Note: my dog did nothing but stand there.

Billy and his guys do awesome work! They are always busy with work (the sign of a good shop) so don't be surprised if it takes a little while to get to your work. I learned a lot working with Performance Machine on a rebuild of my '89 BMW!

Billy is terrible. You tell him you want your block checked for cracks and he says he did and it’s good but then comes back and says it’s cracked and charges you for a new block that needs sleeves and doesn’t okay it with you. He doesn’t want to give your deposit back and says it’s all in labor. This machine shop is a joke and I recommend any person to stay away from this place while in the manhattan area. I don’t know how he has almost 5 star reviews because his customer service is nothing but terrible.

I am doing some odd jobs for customers with agriculture equipment and needed some advice on a 71 year old crankshaft. The team was very friendly and knowledgeable with very affordable prices. You get honesty and truth up front. If your part needs work, they will tell you what can be done to fix it. If it doesn’t need work, they won’t try to trick you into a service you don’t need. I trust them to provide quality machine services to me, for my customers.

Not happy at all with the way he does business. Extremely overpriced and not friendly at all once he gets some money in his pocket. Not to mention doing work that has not been approved by the customer. And slow as Christmas, like pulling teeth trying to get your parts back. Spend your hard earned money somewhere with better customer service !!
