Petry's White Bear Automotive

Very knowledgeable & honest team of technicians. Shawn does a great job and is our go to when we need auto service.

Been coming to Petrys for over 20 years. Always excellent service. Many different vehicles worked on for myself, my husband and kid.

Brought in my 2002 with a coolant leak. Of course being a mechanic they find the most expensive part with some wear and tell you it needs replaced. They aren’t professional enough to find and accurately diagnose an issue without returning your car unfinished after you pay them $2,000 to replace your radiator after driving for 40 min there was 0 coolant in my car. I’d never recommend this shop to my worse enemy!

I only trust my 2 2007 Dodge Magnums with them. A 5.7 HEMI V8 and a 3.5 V6. In addition to my 1992 Chevy G20 Barrons Conversion Van. The Holy Ghost our family calls the Van. Brian, Shawn, and their team keep the Comfy Cruiser with a 350 CI Fuely cruisin yet today.

was referred by Beartown auto body for AC issue. diagnosed compressor 800 quote, told 3 hour repair, scheduled for 8 am appt, dropped off at 7;45am , no word still at 1:30 pm, called, told 1.5 more hours… (clearly put on back burner as i wasn’t in their face). finally got the call at around 4pm… 3hour repair was 8 hours, THEN the charged A $29 FEE TO USE CREDIT CARD!!!!! now i doubt it was the compresssor since it’s all about the GET! won’t be back and definitely do not recommend.
