The search for a good, quick, and thorough oil change place can be confusing and uncertain. With a 10 minute oil change business on every other corner you can never be sure whether you are going to get an oil change or be upsold with everything from the grade oil to windshield wipers. On my search I found Valvoline entirely too crowded and other shops didn't look too professional. Then I remembered seeing a place called Planet Oil that offered oil changes and car washes on Grand River a block or two north of Schaefer. I went there and I am very happy that I did!! I got quick service and a "free" car wash as well. They vacuumed the interior of my car as well. The price was less than what it would have cost me at Valvoline, but with better and more personable service. The place was spotless

I pulled in to get a car wash. I was greeted with a bottled water 💧 and a car air freshener. That definitely set the tone and the car wash and service I received was definitely worth the price. I will be back!

I went in for a oil change in October of 2025 and almost 2 months later on December 21 my oil sensor pressure lights comes on while I was driving and my engine started knocking due to oil leaking out of my car..I had my vehicle sent to the dealership to see what the issue was and they told me I had no drain plug and i need a new engine no work was done on my car they literally just looked at the vehicle and noticed this issue…I ask them why is there no drain plug and they specifically to me who ever did my oil change didn’t screw the plug correctly and didn’t torque it correctly that’s why it came out… that same day I told the manager and he acted like he was going to help said he would call the dealer and would look at the vehicle he never did either he told me he called on a Saturday whi

The best car wash in the city . Very professional. I feel they actually take their time washing my truck before it runs through the car wash . The staff are always nice and helpful. 10/10 definitely recommend
