Spoke with Leonard a couple years ago when my transmission was having issues, but they were so booked up I couldn't get it looked at before it completely died. He was really kind and helpful over the phone though, so when I decided I should have my "new" (used) transmission checked over due to some occasional shifting issues, I thought of this place first. As it wasn't urgent, I didn't mind booking a couple of weeks out. Drop off was super quick and easy, Leonard listened to my concerns, and my car was ready for pick up when he said it would be. My Forester broke down, five hours from home, on I-25. Leonard with Precision Transmission was amazing. I would give 100 stars if I could. When I got their number from a list of suggested shops from the insurance company, I called, stranded, asking what to do, and Leonard not only answered the phone at almost closing time, but, despite it clearly NOT being a transmission issue, treated me like family, helping me sort through next steps. He squeezed my towed car into their packed schedule. Despite it not being their specialty, they were able to correctly identify the fatal problem. These guys just replaced two transmission sensors for me which required a lot of labor, and the price quoted was the price paid. Love that. There was a weird, unexpected complication born out out of moving things around (long story, but not their fault) and they took care of it quickly and graciously... very impressive and appreciated.
