Precision Tune Auto Care

I had a terrible experience with Precision Tune in Goose Creek. I was charged over $2,300 for a fuel tank replacement, only to find out later from the dealership that the wrong part was installed and several components were damaged in the process. My check engine light came back on, fuel poured onto the ground because the pump wasn’t connected, and I now need nearly $3,700 in additional repairs to fix their mistakes. Service by Mike who originally robbed me of my service. The district manager offered no real help, only tried to cover up their negligence. Ignoring the amount of hassle this cause having me wait for repairs and being without a vehicle. I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

The guys at the new Goose Creek location were awesome! They worked with the warranty company for MaxCare, were very thorough in their assessment and made sure all the needed information was obtained so the warranty company would approve the work/parts (new transmission in my case). Rory provided amazing customer service and kept me updated as the parts came in and they were finished with my car on time. They know their stuff, and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. I’m very particular about who works on my cars—both are BMWs. In the Summerville area, few technicians truly know how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair European cars without overcharging. I started working with Rory in the third quarter of 2024 when he serviced my Volvo, and since January 2025 he’s been my go-to tech for both BMWs. When he moved to Precision Tune in Goose Creek, I followed him—even though it’s a 25-minute drive. Rory and his team are outstanding. Their attention to detail is better than I’ve experienced at any BMW, Volvo, Ford, or Lexus service department. Goose Creek’s Precision Tune is a hidden treasure, and I’ll really miss them when I move to St. Augustine, FL this summer.

Went in very worried over a botched brake job and suspension work. They spent an hour on my car getting air out of the brake lines and inspecting my front suspension. I walked out with peace of mind, no charge for the brake line fix, and a price on my suspension that beat the supposed "discount" neighborhood mechanic. This is now my go-to shop and I highly recommend you make it yours too! Very grateful for the good experience. 🙏

Extremely disappointing experience at Precision Tune Auto Care – Goose Creek. The manager, Mike, quoted me $838 for an alternator replacement, then offered a “discount” saying it would be around $700 plus $60 for the belt, but in the end charged me the full $838. He gave me a handwritten card saying “$50 off oil change” for my other car and promised the same for mine. When I came back, he raised the price to $89 and tried to justify that after “taxes,” I’d still pay around $50 — as if that were the discount. Later, I checked the official Precision Tune website and found that the regular listed price for the same service is $49.99 at this very location.
