I’m incredibly grateful for the work done on my van by Proficient Automotive. My family and I experienced an unexpected breakdown while returning from vacation, and Proficient was one of the shops recommended by our tow truck driver. I called as soon as they opened, and they told us to bring the van in right away. Mike got us in immediately and had us back on the road in under two hours and at a very reasonable price. Outstanding service. We couldn’t be happier!

Reasonable price, good communication and quick turnaround. Even though the problems with our Subaru went unexpectedly beyond the norm and required additional work, we were not charged for additional time, just a reasonable price for parts. Plenty of work bays, efficient setup and extra mechanics on duty, so you aren't kept hanging, begging for a fix. We would trust Proficient for all of our vehicles.

I don’t leave reviews, but if I had been told half of the headache I’d have after dealing with Tony, and the tweaker that worked on my vehicle, I’d have gone anywhere else. I had a mechanic put a new fuel pump in my van when it wouldn’t start, and when it still wouldn’t start I had it towed to proficient. They figured out it was the spark(no spark). But after rewiring my fuel pump backwards and killing the actual pump part. They returned my vehicle to me misfiring because the spark plug wires were on the wrong numbers of the distributor cap. That’s what was wrong with it, just the distributor cap. I saw the guy who was working on it and he was withdrawing or on some bad drugs. We had issues with my 2000 tundra back in 2019, this is 2025. We still hold proficient auto, particularly the owner, Tony, as the best auto maintenance experience of our lives. The honesty, prices, generosity were top rate, and I have a great deal of experience with mechanics east coast to west. Thanks Tony for showing us how a shop ought to operate.

Just spoke with someone an hour ago who was very rude and scoffed at every single question I had about a simple repair on my vehicle. Then the line disconnected and I wouldn't be surprised if he hung up on me at that point. I will definitely take my business elsewhere and you should to.
