Purcell Tire and Service Centers

I missed Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family due to the negligence of Jack’s/Purcell Tire. I came in for an oil change the week before Thanksgiving before traveling back to the east coast. The following day I broke down in Logan canyon as Jack’s forgot to tighten the drain plug on the oil pan.(No cell reception…) My brand new engine installed by Ford technicians under my extended warranty about three months prior had seized do to their negligence. They sent it to a cheaper local mechanic rather than Wilson Ford down the street. I had to explain to my elderly mother why I wasn’t going to make it for Thanksgiving. But we still had Christmas right, nope! The estimated repair time was supposed to get me my car back the week before Christmas. I was concerned about this timeline

Had a different tire shop tell me during a tire rotation that I needed a wheel alignment done. Shopped around and decided to go with this place because I thought they’d be good and were a reasonable price. I brought my car in and got a call about an hour later saying that my car’s alignment was just fine and charged me $75 for doing nothing. It felt extremely lazy on their part. Fast forward about 6 months and my two year old tires with great tread still all had to be replaced due to uneven wearing because of the alignment being off. It just bothers me that I asked them to something for me that I knew my car needed and another mechanic knew my car needed and they 1) did nothing and 2) charged me for it. And now I had to buy all new tires.

They took a simple fix where the part only cost 20$ and turned it into a 130$ job.

I’d like to leave a good review for Brad Miller — such a nice, professional, and quick guy. I had a shredded tire that damaged my trailer’s fender, and he made sure to help me fix it well enough so I could make it back to the yard safely. Employees like him deserve to be recognized and appreciated. Thank you so much, Brad!
