Edit: To: Joe Quality Auto Care 55 Randy Ct, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 Date: June 8, 2025 Subject: Immediate Response Requested Regarding Critical Safety Failure Following Brake Service Joe, On Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, you performed brake work on my 2008 Ford Escape, replacing the front driver’s side caliper and rotor. I supplied the parts and paid you $125 in cash as quoted. On Friday, June 6th, while driving home at approximately 25 mph, the entire front driver’s side wheel came off the vehicle, shearing off three wheel studs. This occurred just two blocks from my home—thankfully at a low speed. Had it happened on the highway, the outcome could have been catastrophic. I recovered three lug nuts and one stud from the road. I have used Quality Care 3 times now and I am very impressed with his knowledge and ability to repair what is wrong with my vehicles. I recently had Joe help with painting and repairing my RV after it was hit by a deer. It's a 20 year old fiberglass cabin with a different color patterns that he matched beautifully. When my partner and I first consulted Joe at Quality Auto Care, of 55 Randy Court, I took my Range Rover in for 4 new rotors, all new pads. Within a week of the repairs, my back rear passenger was grinding, and making horrible noise. I called him and he said to bring it in and he would fix it. This all occurred in the span of about a week or two. After some deliberation, I decided to take my vehicle to another mechanic, because it was discovered that my vehicle’s rear passenger brake pads were installed incorrectly, backwards in fact! Long story short, this ordeal has cost more money than these issues should have and ended up with more problems from my vehicle than when I started with Quality Auto Care.
