Best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I went in for a strange noise and was expecting a big bill, but they diagnosed the issue quickly and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. They even pointed out a couple of items that could wait, which I appreciated. They were on time, the car was ready when they said it would be, and the communication was excellent throughout. The quote was detailed and easy to understand, and the final price was exactly what they told me. Honest, efficient, and professional.

My cars check engine light came on and showed a “cylinder 6 misfire” code. My husband replaced the parts needed (total PIA on my jeep) and unfortunately the code didn’t go away. I dropped my car off here on a weekend knowing they wouldn’t be able to look at it until Monday AM. I received a call bright and early Monday from Kyle who explained what was going on. I needed my cam shaft replaced and that’s what was causing the rough idling in my jeep. He told me everything he was going to do, how much to expect it would be, and that he would order parts and once they came in it would be a 2-day job. I was a loyal customer of Quality Auto in Somerset for many years and trusted the shop completely under Pat and his team. Since the business was sold, that trust is gone. The quality of work has declined and the honesty I relied on is no longer there. What used to be a dependable, straightforward auto shop now feels like a place I have to second-guess. It’s disappointing to see how far things have slipped. I can’t recommend Quality Auto anymore based on my recent experiences.

i went there and i needed new tires and a wheel alignment, they were very fast and made sure i knew exactly everything they were doing to my car. they were very respectful and positive, would 10/10 recommend

I ended up with a flat tire and had my car towed here after hours. They were able to fix my car the next day, plus some additional work I needed done. Good communication, fast work, and friendly staff.
