Bruce is just amazing. I’ve never worked with a more thoughtful, thorough, and considerate auto mechanic. My poor Jeep was a lot more sick than I had realized at first, but Bruce did a very thorough inspection, investigated the underlying issues thoroughly, and gave me a very good price.

I would 100% recommend the team at Quality Tech. They stand by their work and are great about explaining what needs to be done and why. They also go above and beyond what is necessary, the team replaced a lost hubcap of mine and I didn’t even realize it at first! The prices are incredibly reasonable as well. I’ll definitely continue to come back here as long as I live in Oakland!

I took my car to QualityTech Automotive for a water pump replacement. The repair had to be done twice because the first part failed. Shortly after the repair, my A/C stopped working, and the car began feeling unsafe to drive. These issues did not exist before the service. The service itself was very expensive, and now I am being told that fixing the new problems will cost nearly twice as much as what I already paid. In other words, I paid a high price for a repair that did not resolve the situation and left me with additional costs. When I returned to the shop, they denied responsibility and offered no meaningful solution. I was left with unresolved issues and significant unexpected expenses. Overall, this was a frustrating and stressful experience. I would not return and cannot recommend

Fast and friendly service. Very capable. I was towed to them one morning and when they opened they diagnosed and serviced my car quickly. I came back the next day for something else and they figured it out quickly and got me on my way with no hassle and no extra charges. I highly recommend them.

bruce rules and is very nice. i trust that i’m not getting ripped off and the work is always good. he’s gone the extra mile to help me when things were tight. great mechanic
