R & Y A/C Compressors

I have a 2015 model year Tesla. I purchased the compressor that was recommended on R&Y site for the 2015 model year and it ends up that it was the wrong compressor. R&Y needs to update their website. So this 2016-2020 compressor (AD-1456-S) is the correct compressor for my 2015 vehicle. However, I encountered a new problem with the AD1456 compressor. The High Voltage connector did not fit. It looks 100% identical to the old HV connector, but it would not fully seat into the male connector. I was able to deconstruct the compressor to extract the connector cable and swap it with the original connector cable allowing full installation.

THE WORST! DO NOT GET! I JUST GOT IT ON AMAZON. Says new. Compressor is used, painted and broken. They are trying to make used parts look new (whoever is doing it does a really bad job) JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES!

This is a great company. I got my products the same day. They were very helpful and the product was perfect. Everything was great. Really nice people.

Purchased one of their “reman” compressors online through Amazon because my compressor, which still worked, started making noise. $374 later I get what appears to be a junkyard ac compressor freshly spray painted. They didn’t even clean the grease and debris off before painting it and they didn’t let paint dry before handling it and dropping it in the box. Also noticed the main plug was busted. Went ahead and installed the compressor in hopes that it would still work. Well to no surprise the compressor leaked from the housing. What a complete scam. Contacted Amazon and sent them pictures and reported seller. Amazon refunded luckily.

Super easy ordering process and fast delivery. I ordered my part on a Wednesday and it was delivered on Friday, two days later. Part fot perfectly and is working great. Highly recommend this company!
