Ramirez Transmission

They are awesome! We were on our way to Port Aransas from Dallas, when our Transsmission failed. They help tow and gave us electricity while we stayed there. They fixed our transmission and did a great job. I recommend

Broke down about a half hour away. They arranged the tow, and fixed the transmission. The service was great, the staff friendly and helpful with no up sell. Would recommended this place, very professional.

Attention!! The owner of this place should be embarrassed to run such a poor establishment. They rebuilt my transmission twice. Both times lasted less than 2000 miles . Wouldn’t warranty it after the second time. They claimed that it was installed wrong. Come to find out they put used parts out of various different year model trucks. They said they would give me a portion of my money back if I brought back the used parts lol. I’m assuming they wanted the parts back so they screw the next person in line! Place is a joke!

Well, I was towed into the yard at Rameriz Transmission on a Sunday afternoon. Mr. Rameriz came along a couple of hours later, and assured me that I was in a safe place, and that he and his team would get me back on the road to Canada as soon as possible. In this, he was a man of his word! The whole team was friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They did an amazing job getting and installing a new transmission in eight days. I had no trouble driving the remaining almost 3,000 km to home in Ontario Canada. I made it home safe and sound, no doubt because of their professionalism and compassion. My heartfelt thanks to the whole team!

I have a 1993 Chevy blazer full size transmission went out near Ramirez transmission in Victoria Texas they quoted 3000 for Job when I picked it up it was 4000. It had one year warranty I picked up truck was driving to Minnesota less than 2000 miles on truck and transmission went out they said local warranty only to bad. Everyone else to do same job was half price. They charge 1500 for Remove and replace. Book call for 8 hours they charged me double and than no warranty. Also they did not hook up radiator only small trans cooler so transmission overheated due to there negligence and they will not honor warranty. These guys are crooks stay away I will have to go to court.
