This is a textbook predatory tow operation wrapped in unprofessional behavior. My vehicle was towed under unclear and inconsistently enforced rules, with insufficient signage and selective enforcement that staff could not adequately explain. When questioned, employees were evasive, dismissive, and clearly untrained on their own procedures. Despite full payment and completed release paperwork, staff threatened to withhold my vehicle based purely on subjective “attitude,” even as the gate was being opened. That is not policy — that is intimidation. A tow company does not get to arbitrarily retain someone’s paid-for property because they don’t like being questioned. The vehicle was ultimately released, but only after unnecessary escalation entirely caused by their conduct. This company ope

It of all the towing places I've dealt with rapids recovery had the nicest employees and the best customer service I've experienced. Although I'm not happy to pay to get my car back they did have the cheapest prices. So the whole experienced was good which is rare for a towing company.

This tow company engages in extremely questionable behavior. They appear to wait around late at night specifically watching for people to leave their vehicles, and it feels especially targeted toward women. Instead of acting professionally or reasonably, they swoop in the moment someone steps away and tow the car without any warning or attempt to communicate. Being stranded at night is already stressful, and their approach makes the situation feel unsafe and predatory rather than legitimate or helpful. There was no courtesy, no explanation upfront, and no concern for the person involved—just an immediate tow and a bill afterward. I would strongly caution anyone, especially women, to be careful around this company. This is not how a reputable tow service should operate.

Had to pick up my boyfriend’s car earlier in the week. Our friends gave us a day pass to park at their place, and we didn’t know it ended at 9. Came to the parking lot at 10, only an hour late, and the car was gone. It was $360 cash ONLY to pick up, and they had no atm there. When we pulled up, there was a guy who was about to close their garage. We simply wanted to ask him where the entrance was, and he hurried to slam the garage shut and wouldn’t talk to us or the other two people there. When we got inside, he was in the back SCREAMING and CUSSING nonstop. The lady who was helping us giggled and said sorry, he clearly doesn’t have any manners. The whole thing was sketchy, the whole place and people were sketchy, and it’s clearly a way to eat up peoples money. It may be borderline “legal”

Check your vehicle for damage before signing your receipt at their impound lot! Insist on a test drive to check your transmission and drive train. Be advised that if you sign your receipt you are signing a damage waiver meaning if they damaged your vehicle by improper towing or storing it they can not be held responsible for any damage they cause. Read the fine print. I was stone walled when explaining this issue. Luckily I was able to do a short drive without asking but the next person to try this may not be so lucky. One person in the office gave some acknowledgement of this issue as did the manager in the lot, thus two stars as opposed to one. Maybe three stars? My car was undamaged.
