Easy, fast, and least expensive option around using their online coupon. Everywhere else that offered a coupon in this price range did not include a free retest if you don’t pass. But this shop includes that in addition to having the lowest price.

I've had my car smogged a few times here, but probably not again. Guy doing the check is always nice and excellent. Owner is a little dry but fine. Between being stick watching Fox News in the waiting room and the disappointing comments he leaves people here, i don't feel comfortable going back. I imagine he'll respond to this

Just a heads up, but don’t take your modified stance car here. I just recently inspected my engine bay due to a cylinder bank 2 running lean. Turns to find out the guy who smog my car had disconnected one of my hose on my driver side. Completely unclamped as if he wanted to blow my engine up. I didn’t notice until a day later I heard air whistling and p0174 code. It looked as he had completed smogging my car but after he unclamped the air hose.

Super fast with no wait. Used the coupon they gave to another non-STAR smog check station up the street. Place is spacious and clean, better than other places I used in the past. Not warm and fuzzy but it was efficient and very reasonable priced (with the coupon). Would go again.

This was my first time to Redwood City Smog. I showed up a few minutes before they opened on a Wednesday morning and didn't have to wait long. I was out the door in under 10 minutes! The two gentlemen there were very nice. I also took advantage of a promotion I found on their website, so I was happy with the price. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business to friends.
