Was looking for new automotive shop to go with and used ChatGPT to search up a fair and trusted auto shop with great service in Campbell. Renson Automotive was one of the top 3. I had used two other top three shops but I had lost trust after seeing their work and pricing—their messy shop (well aware it’s not indicator of abilities) also never sat well with me. Took my 2004 Tacoma to Renson Automotive and got a cracked valve cover replaced, timing belt tuning, and a bad alternator changed out. Got the truck back after two days and man, my truck just sounds and feels smooth. Been driving it since ‘04, so I know. Always a pleasure. It’s never fun to run into car trouble but it’s extremely comforting to know I have a place that will take care of whatever issue that arises. I met Eric at Land Rover and gladly followed him to his own venture after he offered an honest repair suggestion that saved me thousands. It’s always nice to bring my cars to a shop where everyone I interact with knows what they are doing. And they project a vibe that they like what they do. And they know what they are talking about. There’s more - they are hard working and doing a tough job but they take time to be thorough, friendly and detailed. It’s clear that they like cars and have a broad knowledge of a lot of different manufacturers and the nuances that are part of these different vehicles. I’ve brought Honda, Ford, and Lexus to them. Newer cars and collectibles. The advisors have provided advice that isn’t necessarily in the favor of the shop but actually in mine. They bring a long term approach to the work they do.

The guys at Rensen's always do a great job with my vehicle. Beyond that they are always willing to take the time to answer my car questions. Lately they took the time to give me advice on selecting my next vehicle. I appreciate their expertise in all things related to cars.

I was comfortable with the service. They did a thorough check of my car. They discussed with me the suggested maintenance needed in the future. I also appreciate the notifications when to return for service.
