I was looking at getting the 02 Silverado 1500HD they have in their inventory as it looks like the cleanest one in the northern part of the US with low miles (for a 20+ year old truck), almost pristine body with a few imperfections, and great price. The thing that is deterring my business with them is the significant absence of communication. I reached out on Monday to ask about it; I got one email response and then nothing after I emailed back. On Wednesday, I sent a follow up email to which I got a reply, but nothing again after I sent my response. Yesterday, I called and asked about what I needed to do and was given information on what to do to start the trade appraisal process. Would not recommend without consulting third parties and having a vehicle closely evaluated. Update: in response to the owners response. This was a 09 Impala with 105k on it. Was told that it was very well taken care of, and was an empolyees vehicle. Several emails had been exchanged following up on documentation after issues started appearing after less than 1k miles. Dealership offered to repair the brakes for a lower cost than what I would expect at a different shop. If the brakes were initially an issue they should have been taking care of before selling . Seller claims engine was previously replaced, however multiple seals in the engine failed. And even after asking several times for the documentation on this repair, seller and dealership have both failed in offering documentation.

Sure enough, she called me as soon as it became available, and let me test drive the vehicle with no question. She was very trusting, welcoming, and easy to work with. She let me bring it to get checked by a professional, answered the hard questions, and was very fair with the trade in. I will continue to recommend Rides and had an amazing/easy experience purchasing my first car.

I purchased a classic car from rides back in 2014 or 2015 I'd have to check my paperwork. I dont know if things have changed but 1st issue was a week after I purchased it everything started leaking. Engine oil, transmission oil, rear end...it was a nightmare. But the main issue was: they listed this car as having a semi rare Chrysler 340 engine. Now anyone who knows these engines...they are not easy to come by. So I purchased this car based on them saying over and over again even after I asked to confirm that it was in fact a 340. They said yep it is! So I made the deal..well as this car sits with its laundry list of issues I crawl underneath the car and check the engine stamping a low and behold it's not a 340. It's a 360 from not even that era. So the value of this car massively drops. I
