Rigor Towing and Recovery

Called and spoke with someone on the phone. Was trying to schedule a tow from a dealership in Covina Hills to a yard in Rancho. Quoted me $350 and asked for payment right then on the phone. I informed them I was not comfortable paying until the truck was delivered or at least when it was picked up but they would not budge stating it was their policy. I declined their services and tried another more mainstream tow company. The other company quoted me $190 for the same job and never asked for payment. I clarified with them when payment would occur and it was after the truck was delivered with the driver. That’s the way it should be. I’ve learned to always be wary of paying before a service is complete.
