To start out anyone who says this is mom and pop is deluded. The shop has been sold. for years from the original guy. Furthermore, they quoted me 1900 which was later reduced to 1600. Which is insane considering thats 300 they just randomly decided against. My issue was with the radiator and they fixed it quick which is the only reason I have them a star. However, they either gave me a used radiator or completely spilled coolant over the one they replaced Afterwards they removed the panels in my car and broke them. Which is unacceptable for “quality” mechanics. Personally I will never go here again, it was a mistake since I believed the reviews earlier. Had significantly cheaper quotes my car was just totaled and undrivable so had to keep it either way them. TLDR: Fix your car fast bu

Took my car to Rising Sun Automotive for a stuck rear plate and they were awesome. The screws were completely seized, but Jeremy and Heath handled it and got everything fixed. Super nice, helpful, and professional. Definitely recommend!

POOR SERVICE & Management. Reason for vehicle maintenance POWER STEERING SYSTEM. Less than 200 miles driving shortly after getting my powering steering repaired my vehicle was worse off prior to repairs! Recommended additional preventative maintenance in additional to repairing existing power steering system. I mistakenly agreed on all recommendations without any hesitation mistakenly trusting Rising Sun on Lamar. Spending $2,100 my power steering failed. Returned vehicle to shop repairing perhaps faulty labor or parts. Upon further text messages regarding repairs Power Steering required repair. I kindly requested for mngr. JOHN (owner)responded I am not a crystal ball and can’t tell you when a mechanical failure occurs! Taking advantage of female customer is highly disrespectful! Rising

I've used Rising Sun for assorted maintenance this year on my Mazda. Brake fluid, pads/rotors, oil changes, transmission services, etc. They're not the cheapest in town, but the quality of the work is very high, service advisors are communicative and easy going, and they stand by their warranty. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a shop that you can trust to do a great job and care about your car!

I have a Subaru Ascent, higher on miles. My colleagues recommended them. Jeremy and the team took exceptional care of my engine leak (why me 🤣) I’m still having problems with my older car but I feel comfortable with the team. Nice folks…prices are what they are but they’re good Japanese car doctors 👍
