I absolutely love Rittenhouse. I have 2 foreign cars so finding a place that can accommodate the needs for both is priceless. They offer fantastic customer service, even arranging a ride for me when I needed it on my first visit about a year ago. I have been there a couple of times for each of my cars because they are transparent, provide written as well as digital documentation of everything they see as a need and worked with me to do what I could afford. Fantastic customer service with a nice coffee stand with snacks. They even saw that I had replacement hubcaps in my car & asked if I wanted them to change them out before I left. Amazing. I’m really disappointed to leave this review because I’ve always had good experiences with Rittenhouse Auto in the past. The mechanics are honest, and Courtney was very helpful when I ordered new tires and had them delivered to the shop. Their work has always been great, which makes this situation even more frustrating. Back in August, when I picked up my 2014 Volt it was parked in their lot, I discovered a huge dent in my door about the size of a cell phone. Since I have PPF (paint protection film), getting it repaired will be costly, as the film will also need to be replaced. Unfortunately, the damage is very hard to see on camera but very noticeable in person, which makes the situation even more difficult. They came highly recommended by our current mechanic [also an excellent local business] for our transmission issues, since it was out of their scope. Rittenhouse Auto Service is professional, courteous and responsive. Chris and the techs are really looking out for the needs of the customer [versus billing as much as they can into a ticket] and their approach to providing service should be the gold standard in the auto repair industry.

The team at Rittenhouse is amazing! Traveling from Norfolk to Ohio with the family on 64, near Waynesboro when a coolant/heating hose failed and got it towed to Rittenhouse with AAA. The entire staff worked tirelessly to get us back on our way. From welcoming us to finding the new parts locally and even using their personal car to pick up the new parts. These guys were saviors.
