Great experience from beginning to end (unintended pun considering I got exhaust work done)! Sam, one of the owners, was fabulous. I brought in an old car, so when I told him I wanted it fixe, he said, what do you want fixed? And I didn’t understand what he meant at first. But what he meant was it’s an old car, there are 100 things to fix on an old car, what is it that you actually want me to fix? And that was a really good question that I’ve never been asked by a mechanic! At what point would I feel that the car has been fixed is not the same as fixing the car. He listened carefully and made conservative estimates, recommended against transmission work, and recommended a low cost intervention.
