Rocket City Car Wash

Avoid this car wash at all cost if you value your paint and money. I went in this past weekend and got the “ultimate” car wash and tire shine. The staff and service was nice enough but when I got home I did a walk around and the entire driver side of my brand new truck as well as the tailgate have massive swirl marks and scratches. The pictures don’t do justice for how bad it is. I called and spoke to the owner to give him an opportunity to make it right but was just told “there’s nothing we can do”. I get it if you don’t have someone to do buff work but the least you could do is bring someone in to fix the issue. If you run a business, you should take responsibility for damage that your employee or equipment cause.

I paid for full service but definitely didn’t receive it. My vehicle was spot vacuumed at best, crumbs/hair still on floor and seats. And I guess full service doesn’t include your center console.

First time going to Rocket Wash. At first the experience was great. Person who rang us in was nice, staff seemed nice. Once I started driving I noticed some gunk/scratches on the driver inside window, then the other windows on the inside of two others. I parked and walked around the car and noticed scratches and debris that was not cleaned. Spent $40 there but don’t think I will return.

I got the best car wash ever for a great price! It included a thorough interior vacuum and wipe down and was comparable to the monthly self-serve car wash subscription I had, but here they did the work while I sat back with my coffee and watched.

I grew up taking my car to Blue Velvet in the early 2000s and it had been great back in the day. In more recent years, quality of service really seemed to taper off, so I hadn't been back in about 4 years. I still live nearby and had been thinking I'd like to see how it'd go these days. Today, I did the mid level wash with the added $9 full service to get the interior cleaned because it really needed it. I don't think it was touched at all. I've got leather, so I understand vacuuming isn't as necessary on the seats, but they still should have been wiped down with something and the carpet in the car doesn't look like it was done at all.
