Ron's Garage

My mom and dad used to own a Marathon service station for many years in Lakewood. My Pop, Jim Sotherland pretty much ran the last full service gas station In Ohio at that time. All of our cars were worked on there. Today we're vulnerable. New car BS; etc. Ron runs illegitimate business. My family likes him and that's important. He doesn't try to rip you off or make you buy a part you don't need. He went the the extra limits on my repairs. Even added free additional service repairs. You always wanna find a mechanic that knows your car and knows you. This is how I grew up. Even just like a Doctor. Pediatrician, etc., i will always take my cars to Ron's garage!

Great service. Everyone is friendly and more than helpful. And the added bonus is you can play with the dog and pet the cat which makes for a very pleasant wait time.

We brought my daughter's VW beetle in for new tires. It took 3 days for this process. We went to pick up her car and they had fixed a tail light without asking us if we wanted it fixed. They are charging us $200 for something that we did not authorize and dont have the money to pay for this. This is not acceptable! Watch out for this dishonest company! Take your car somewhere else.

Went there for my E-check, they said no appointment needed Monday through Friday. They were nice, helpfully and professional and had me out of there in less than 5 minutes! I'm so happy I gave them a chance!

I heard of this shop through word of mouth and I'm glad I scheduled an appointment. The staff was very friendly and they did me a great service. Whenever I need any work done on my car in the future this is definitely where I plan on taking it.
