I brought in my wife’s 2022 Mini Cooper JCW Clubman for an oil change, tire rotation and general inspection. It was the first time we didn’t go to the Mini Cooper dealership for service and my wife was a little nervous. However, all her concerns were quickly put to rest upon arriving at Roundel. The shop is modern, clean and organized, with a comfortable waiting room. They did a great job serving the Mini Cooper and paid attention to every detail with a thorough report at the end. The operation is top shelf, the final invoice reasonable and we avoided having to take the long drive off Cape to the Mini dealership.

Rear brake service on our 2018 Mercedes was quoted at $1,600, which I approved. At pickup, the final bill was $2,500, including a $900 charge for removing the wheels—a cost that was never clearly disclosed or approved in advance. The original lug bolts were replaced with visibly inferior, rust-colored bolts without prior approval. Had this additional charge been communicated, I would have taken the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Westwood, where we normally service the car and where wheel removal is not charged separately. When questioned, the manager claimed this cost had been quoted earlier, which is untrue, and his response was dismissive and unprofessional. This experience contradicts their stated policies of “no surprises” and “100% customer satisfaction.” I would not recommend this shop.

Although they do good work their prices are extremely high. I needed a fuel injector and a module and was quoted a price of 3400. I sent the module out for testing and it was fine(150). Bought the injector on eBay(150) Labor for local mechanic 300. Had diagnostic done on another issue. 200 to tell me it’s the starter with a quote of 1400. Really? I’ll update this when I have it done for half that price

Major gas leak repaired: Roundel Motors diagnosed and repaired a major gas leak with my Mercedes that averted a serious fire issue. Many thanks to Roundel Motor Werks for taking my car in right away and also setting me up with a complementary loaner. Great Job.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS SHOP. I took my Mercedes here to have the lifters done after speaking to them on the phone about doing this specific job. After they had the car for a few days they called back and said that it needed at least 10k worth of work, I told them I understand it's an older car and that of course to make it perfect it could probably use twice that even, but that I wanted them to just replace the lifters as we had discussed. They then refused to do the job and charged me two hours of diagnostic (over $300). I was shocked that they refused to service the car AND charged diagnostic since I had laid out exactly what I wanted done to the car and they agreed to take it in to do that work.
