Route 64 Speed Shop & Auto

I took my truck here unsure of what was wrong with it. Others told me transmission was bad, torque converter bad, or catalytic converters clogged. I took it to them and told them what people thought was wrong. They had all of the correct diagnostic tools to pinpoint exactly what was not and what was the problem. It took them longer than expected but they took the time to find the problem while I was there. They gave me a fair price for diagnostics and found that the cam phaser actuators were bad on one side. They were honest with me that sometimes it doesn't fix the issue on motors with the mount ofiles I had on mine. I went ahead and asked them to replace the parts and they were able to get me in pretty quickly. They had some problems getting things apart because of rust but they got it

We have several vehicles that I use in my business. We average well over 50,000 miles a year on these vehicles. We have used Route 64 speed shop for years keeping these vehicles going. If we bring a vehicle in for regular maintenance or a repair, the work is done correctly and promptly. We have never had to bring it back for the same issue. We will continue to use Route 64 speed shop for all maintenance and repairs as it is hard to find a good mechanic or better yet a trustworthy mechanic in any area. We have horror stories of other shops we've had to use while out of the area. I highly recommend these guys for any repairs or maintenance you need for your vehicles.

Great mechanics and very helpful. I had a truck that had been sitting for a few years and needed a few things done to get it running. They kept me updated on everything and I had my truck back in just under a week. They even gave it quick wash. It's running beautifully and I will not go anywhere else for my car services. These guys are the best! Very quickly found out what was wrong with my car. Explained what was wrong, and what needed to be done,and how much the repair would cost. Within 2 hours, got a call it was ready for pick up. I highly recommend hwy 64 speed shop!! Thanks guys. Can't trust my car to anyone else. And the chocolate chip cookie was delicious.😄

My exhaust completely broke off today (friday, 20min before closing, Christmas break) they fixed me up and had me running in 5min free of charge. It was just me and my kids and I was hours from home/destination. They saved us! 100/100!
